Release No. 16 | Sequential Series | 2nd Use Barrels
The Sequential Series is comprised of two expressions resulting from an experiment in barrel use and entry proof. For our 2nd Use Barrels release, we transferred nine-year-old bourbon from its new charred white oak barrels into barrels that had previously held bourbon for nine years. Half the barrels entered at 125 proof while the other half entered at 115 proof. The final marriage features notes of baked apples, vanilla and sweet caramel – worthy of sipping slowly.
Both 2nd & 4th Use Barrels were released in 2017.
