The bright, refreshing tang of lemon juice pairs flawlessly with the warming floral of our Double Gold medal winning Bowman Brothers Small Batch Virginia Straight Bourbon Whiskey for a sweet, summertime sipper. The first printed recipe for a whiskey sour appeared around 1862 in the famous “Jerry Thomas Bartenders Guide,” but the satisfying nature of this drink has kept it relevant for any at-home bartender ever since. Sate any thirsty whiskey-lover with the rich texture of this classic bourbon cocktail recipe. Our hot tip? Use freshly squeezed lemon for a truly silky sour.
